HP Tuners requirements
Supported Camaro V8 engine controllers require 2 Universal Credits for 2010–2016 applications or 4 credits for 2017–2024 applications. Confirm the exact SS/ZL1 model year, controller and operating system before ordering.
For supported automatic cars using a T87A or non-Global-B T93 controller, transmission tuning requires 4 additional credits. These controllers now support HP Tuners’ free direct-OBD upgrade using current VCM Suite; the former send-in TCM upgrade is no longer required for those supported controllers. Confirm other transmission/controller combinations individually. Manual-transmission cars do not require a separate automatic-TCM license.
Shop MPVI4 and available credit bundles. The store offers 0, 2 or 4 credits with the interface; contact Johnson Tuning to arrange any remaining credits. Hardware, credits and controller upgrade services are separate from the remote tune.
